El Red Lion, situado en la localidad de Broadclyst, a las afueras de Exeter, ofrece un jardín. La posada está a unos 7 km del estadio de rugby Sandy Park y a 6 km del Westpoint Arena. Very welcoming staff, room was lovely very old building so full of charm. Food amazing ate here both nights of our stay.

The Cornish Arms is a real treasure! This is a traditional fine dining pub-hotel combination, with both components fulfilling the highest standards. The rooms are beautifully appointed and very quiet (we couldn't heat the pub at all); ours had a hedgehog theme. Spent a peaceful and relaxing night in the very comfy bed. All the amenities are brand-new but well selected to reflect the historical character; nice decoration details. Check-in was smooth at the pub bar doubling as reception. Without reservation, we got a table in the restaurant downstairs, and the food was simply stunning, with local specialties reinterpreted by a splendid chef. The hotel is in the middle of the market town of Tavistock (with parking in back), just minutes away from a beautiful mountain view of Dartmoor (check out the sunset). Picked up lots of souvenirs in the local deli (around the corner) and farmers' market, all within walking distance.
