The facilities are finely decorated, including the pub downstairs... the breakfast and the service was amazing. I could not imagine to be at a better place for a long travel break.

The room was comfortable, tasteful and very clean. Bathroom was very nice too. We really appreciated the welcoming with brownies, fresh milk and hot chocolate in our room. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed the stay.

It has a bar, library, and its Victorian walled garden is the largest in Canterbury. Breakfast was excellent and the "to go" breakfast on our morning of departure was amazing!
