Featuring a restaurant and a bar, The Barrel Inn is located in Eyam, 15 km from Chatsworth House and 19 km from Buxton Opera House. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of cooked options plus juice, cereal, fruit, toast etc. Staff were friendly and provided maps and guide books for walking in the area. Barrel Inn is privately owned and they greeted us at breakfast and made us feel at home. Great location near to historic village of Eyam in the Peak District, walking trails near the Inn. Great stay.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Dinner especially was of a very high standard and was honestly one of the best meals that I've ever eaten. Breakfast too was of a very high standard. Our room was large and comfortable and the bathroom equally so.
