I stayed in a single room looking straight out to the tiny island of Gairloch and the larger island of Skye, amazing sunset over the water.
I loved the peace and quiet and had a lovely wander around and out of the village before dinner.
Excellent and varied dinner menu, all good value.
Good choice for breakfast too.

Location was good and the fact we could eat in the restaurant was good
Very pleasant room with nice view and comfortable bed. Dinner portions were large! Staff all friendly and helpful. easy access to parking and village facilities, great location for the Inverewe gardens
Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff friendly and well informed. The location is great if you are interested in the history of UK convoys to Russia during 2nd World war and/or want to visit the fabulous nearby Inverewe Gardens
Lovely family home converted to excellent B&B. Highly recommended. Poolewe itself is a lovely village, with river rushing through it, beautiful walks, and the spectacular Inverewe Gardens only 1km away. If you need to eat in the evening, make sure you book a table at the Poolewe Hotel ( 5 min walk away, if that), there's nowhere else open unless you drive to Gairloch (10-15 mins).
Well equipped kitchen 🙂. Beautuful house. Spacious rooms. The upstairs games room has fantastic views of surrounding area. Grand garden. Not far from the beaches. Inverewe gardens worth a visit.
Brilliant stocked shop in Poolewe.
Cake/pie van at bottom of road well worth treating yourself.
spacious and very well equIpped. Spotlessly clean. More than adequate parking. Safe fenced garden, good for children. Quiet location, with mountain views to the south, and Loch Ewe to the north. Poolewe village hall, shops and Inverewe Gardens within easy walking distance.
Very friendly people ready to make local suggestions if needed and help in any way they can. Very clean and fresh. Beautiful views, quiet spot, very close to Inverewe Garden.
Everything is good. We have the attic room which is clean, bright, comfortable, quiet with pleasing decoration. Good breakfast. Plenty of on-site parking. Close to Inverewe Garden, one of the best gardens we have visited in our round Scotland road trip in July. We were recommended to have dinner at Myrtle Bank Hotel which is less than 15 minute drive away. The seafood is excellent and the dishes are reasonably priced. We have one of the best seafood dinners of our trip.
We spent two nights here, for the second year running, on the way south from Ullapool. In warm sunshine ! It is a nicely decorated period house, situated very close to Inverewe Gardens, and a short drive from Gairloch and from the beach at Mellon Udrigle. Ross works hard and is a welcoming host. Excellent breakfast.
