This is a lovely boutique hotel in an amazing location. Just a few minutes walk to the Rijks Museum and 15 minutes to the 9 streets area.
The common areas are beautifully designed with colour and design flare.
Breakfast was great- simple but delicious!
The staff were the highlight of the stay- super friendly, obliging and helpful. We arrived early and as our room was ready they allowed us to check in early and held our bags after we checked out so we could keep exploring.

Terrible.
Terrible.
I must tell, that even the museum its follow-up survey does not work. However I am working in field of IT, and know all necessary tricks to filling out an online survey, my experiences is not enough. :(
Our visit was terrible. Visiting this place was the only programm in Amsterdam, a bad surprize, to be referred as terrible.
Against time periods, it was too much crowded. At the entrance individuals and group is without common sense shuffled.
Staff is impolite, badly communicating. They disturbed as well our visit, becouse of my 3 liter backpack during our visit. Why? Why not at the entrance. But ther was no resolution, just disturbing attemptes to arrange somthing. I left them staying. I was working in visitor center of Hungarian Parliament.
This was impossible.
Direction posts is just a few and badly placed.
Audioguide usage is missing many information: where to get, how to use, where to give back etc. So is an unnecessary garbage.
Thinks worth having is collection and decriptions.
Every additional circumstences to our visir was just disturbing or missing.
Suggested to improve many components for making a visit memorable. This was just immemorable.

Pace yourself!
Pace yourself! This is Amsterdam's version of the Louvre -- there's a lot to see. They have kind of a 'greatest hits' exhibition hall that is quite nice and navigable in one visit but if you want to see the other floors I'd suggest going a second day. After awhile it's more than you can absorb. They have a really nice restaurant in the lobby and a cute coffeeshop tucked in a back corner if you need a break halfway through.

There's a fantastic collection of ship models in the basement. Oh, and Rembrant and Vermeer, but lots of other great art. You could spend all day here.
Buy timed tickets online, or walk straight in with a ticket from the museum shop out front. Same price.

Absolutely gorgeous museum.
Absolutely gorgeous museum. Definitely get there at opening (9a) and get a museum map -- it's super helpful and the entire museum is laid out chronologically by floor, area, so it's easy to pick the areas/eras you're interested in. The cafe is a nice stop for a break/snack. Gift shop has nice, reasonably priced items.

Location is perfect, next to the museums (van gogh, rijksmuseum etc.) and Vondelpark. Room was clean, the lady working on a reception was very helpful and sweet. Overall, nice experience, with one important negative experience
I arrived late in the night, got the better room, that I booked, checked in and had a good sleep. Easy to find, 25 minute walk to the Station and even closer to Rijksmuseum
The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of Amsterdam near Damm Square, Red Light District / Central Station and walking distance to Rijksmuseum and pretty much everywhere in the city.
The location was great, the hotel is very close to Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and other museums. The trams and buses stations are very close to the hotel, there is a direct bus to Schiphol airport. The staff, especially George was very helpful and friendly.
Perfect location. There are Metro station, supermarket, restaurant, coffee bar near the apartment. Go to Rijksmuseum by walk about 12 minutes. Take the public transportation to Keukenhof is so conveniently. If you have any question, just ask the host, he will provide some information, such as local restaurant, tour information, shopping, etc.
The apartment equipped microwave oven, coffee machine, stove, refrigerator and some cookers. Because of the Easter, the host prepared snack Stollen in refrigerator.
Amazing location! just a 4-5 minute walk to the Rijksmuseum, close by to the tram, and walking distance to Amsterdam Centrum. The staff was great and we had a pleasant experience.
Great location, very close to Rijksmuseum and Vondel park, and an amazing team at reception desk - professional, but also caring and kind, who make you feel truly welcome. Got a room upgrade - appreciated a lot!
Clean, perfectly adequate hotel in a good location just south of the Rijksmuseum. We booked in a rush after our flight was cancelled and the only thing we didn't like was the decor in the room....very purple with a flaking ceiling. everything else about the hotel wa fine. The hotel is in a good neighbourhood with shops and restaurants very close by. Walkable into the City.
Great location right on a corner near a canal just a block away from Rijksmuseum. The hotel has an outstanding conceptual design and very nice receptionists (one of them seemed a bit too slow and confused though, however another one served us breakfast long past its end time, and yet another one served us magnificent cocoa in the middle of the night). In the night it was relatively quiet outside.
Very handy in Vondelpark round the corner from Rijksmuseum. Great for the group. Really helpful staff. Food excellent and plentiful. Highly recommend.

I usually come here to the opera but there are plenty of nice things to do, such as visit museums, do the tour of the city by canal bus; my favourite quarter is around the Leidse plein. The Rijksmuseum is one of my best expériences and it is always a pleasure to visit this museum.
