Whakaipo Lodge was a superb place to stay in every way. The owners, Garth & Angie went beyond the call to make our stay memorable & easy to highly recommend from the welcome, to the pre dinner drinks & canapes, the sharing of local knowledge & the beautifully presented, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was 10/10 using locally sourced high quality products. The coffee also got a gold star.

This was a very spacious enclosed room with a small kitchenette and lovely bathroom and double doors to the lovely garden. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Would consider staying longer next time but it was a last minute stop to rest up for our trip home. Very relaxing and enjoyed the pets.

Lodge right across the Lake and familiar beach. Not in the city center but walkable distance. Close to Sunday market. Quiet at night. Very clean. Hostess polite and communicative. Gave us some tips about NZ and the area. Had everything needed for a cople of days. Swimming pool temperature just right. Free parking. Wifi worked well. Overalll right price for the facilities offered. If it had a stovetop it would be perfect (for me). Great restaurant nearby (Mole & Chicken)

Baycrest Thermal Lodge is fabulous. I give it a 7 only because I know there are luxurious, fancier places to stay at Lake Taupo, which also cost a whole lot more. Baycrest Lodge is spacious, clean, convenient, comfortable and a reasonably priced daily rate. we stayed on a ground floor unit and made good use of the outdoor thermal tub. The heated pool is lovely for all guests. I can really recommend.

Gorgeous bed and breakfast stay high up, overlooking the lake with stunning views from the Kiwi Suite. Friendly and relaxing spot with every need thought of and the most amazing huge breakfast. There were little additions like chocolates around the room and there's a snooker table and honesty bar in the lodge to use. Loved every minute.

Asure Prince Motor Lodge is a very serene, neat and clean lodge situated strategically near to amenities. It's a short distance walk to Lake Taupo too. The room inside the lodge is very comfortable with crispy clean bedsheets. Thank you for making my stay a memorable and stress free one.
