From the seamless pick-up and drop-off from Sandakan to the incredible activities arranged by the lodge, every detail was perfect. The lodge itself was well-equipped and comfortable, and we were thrilled to find reliable WiFi in the common area. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the river cruises, expertly guided by Linda and her team. Their knowledge and dedication were evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure we saw the best wildlife the region has to offer, including the elusive Big 5. Linda's passion and expertise truly enhanced our experience, making each cruise an adventure to remember. A special mention goes to the food – the best Malaysian home-cooked meals we’ve ever had! The lodge graciously accommodated our vegetarian request, and every meal was a delightful culinary experience. This stay comes highly recommended for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Borneo's jungle while enjoying excellent hospitality and thrilling wildlife adventures. El The Last Frontier Boutique Resort se encuentra en Bilit, en lo alto de una colina de 100 metros con vistas a la reserva forestal de Kinabatangan y a 2 horas en auto de la hermosa Sandakan. Every people are so friendly and nice! Hospitality is great. Due to this hospitality, you feel safe and you can enjoy jangle without fear. Sound of insects, birds and nature things are so great in and around guest house. You use all your seances and you find your own new ability. I went with 74 years old grandfather and 70 years old grandmother. They did not expect such a jangle adventure, but they are so happy about this stay and they enjoyed a lot, but you need to take about 500 steps to the guest house though. Now they have more confidence to try everything. We saw many other European tourist on the river cruse boat. Many of them had grey hair. How old you are, you can enjoy this place and experience if you are open to new things. I went with 4, 8, 11 years old kids too. They enjoyed too. They loved pancake so much. Thank you for meeting allergy request too. Communication before trip was also very nice and quick. Thank you again for the great experience!

Comfortable dining room with complete kitchen facilities. Comfortable and very clean room complete with iron, hair dryer,kettle. Stunning and wonderful view of Mount Kinabalu. Definitely will stay again. The owner/host very nice and helpful.

El Maglami-lami Water House se encuentra en Semporna y ofrece vistas al mar, alojamiento y restaurante. El baño privado está totalmente equipado con bidet y pantuflas. Absolutamente perfecto. Nos costaría explicar con palabras lo que vivimos allí. Ubicación inmejorable en mitad del mar con los mejores amaneceres que hemos visto en nuestra vida; comida casera y deliciosa; actividades divertidas y bien organizadas. Y sobre todo el personal, servicial y sonriente; incluso nos ayudaron los quemaduras de sol jajajaj No os lo penséis, merece la pena salir del ruido de Mabul y disfrutar de su hospitalidad :)

El Tampat do Aman está situado en medio de exuberante vegetación y ofrece alojamiento en Kg Tiga Papan, a 30 km de Kudat. Had a great two nights stay in this nature paradise. Howard, the owner, has a deep knowledge of the region and its culture. He will make your stay super easy going and can drop you around if you have no vehicle. Accommodation is very basic and that's exactly why you're going there! If you are scared of little insects, you shouldn't be in Borneo at the first place so move on! Thanks for this stay, loved the refreshing shower after a hot day! Wish you all the best for your future plans.
