Was beautiful, peacful, right next to the beach, lots of places in house and around the house to find spot for yourself if u need to work but also easy to socialize if u want. Loved my stay there.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the lodge. Staying at Julianne’s and Richard’s place was just perfect. They are so kind and have great advice for activities in the area. The accomodation is well equipped and beautiful, the view above the landscape and ocean is just stunning - and you can enjoy sunsets in the hot tub. I would always come back, can definitely recommend.

The luxury and spacious guest suites are all located in the old farm outbuildings. Each has a flat-screen TV and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave and fridge. There is a private bathroom with bathrobes in each unit. Towels and bed linen are available. We enjoyed every bit of our stay. Thanks to our great hosts Fiona and Ann, we learned a lot about live in that area, had a guided tour to meet Tana Mahuta and his siblings and also found the way to Aranga beach, not to forget wonderful breakfasts and excellent dinner. Just perfection there at “the top of the world” and then throw in golf….life does not get better!

Each suite at Bay of Islands Lodge New Zealand has a private balcony with views of the sea and surrounding countryside. The views are beautiful and the hosts are amazing. Glennis and Dave made us feel so welcome and helped us re-arrange our plans when they were a bit overly ambitious. The breakfasts were delicious and the place is nicely decorated, comfortable and just fantastic. We felt like family the second we drove down the driveway and were greeted as we pulled up. A truly wonderful stay.
