La Digue
Popular points of interest near the lodge include Anse Gaulettes Beach, Anse Grosse Roche Beach and Anse Patates Beach. The nearest airport is Seychelles International Airport, 71 km from Secret Villa. A dream come true in the jungle. The rooms are very thought through, comfortable and yet special everyone in its own way. Ours had a bathroom in the middle of a huge granite rock. The view was great, you also have a lookout just a few minutes of walk away. Breakfast and dinner were very good, a lot of fresh fruit, vegetables and fish. The staff was very friendly and kind. We loved the location, far away from everything and also in the middle of a wonderland of flowers, plants and wooden cotages. Keep in mind though, that from the main road you have to walk cca 7 min on a very steep road, that can get a little slippery during rain. But if you are at least a little bit capable of walking uphill, you can do it. All in all, we would definately recommend!
La Digue
La Digue Island Lodge has its own diving centre on Anse Reunion Beach. A sun terrace overlooking the ocean sits by the pool with swim-up bar. Creole-style accommodation is spread among tropical gardens. Green garden and very nice beach. Breakfast was amazing as well as dinner.
The lodge was beautiful, friendly staff and very close to Anse Source d’Argent
We come back to La Digue after 15 yrs and the lodge has still the best structure close to Anse Source D’Argent
An amazing and unique experience staying in the "Robinson Crusoe Lodge". A beautifully constructed room in the jungle made from local wood. The breakfast and diners were good made with high quality local produce. Gerrard and his staff looked after our every need. Fantastic views, a jungle trail with giant tortoise and fantastic views. All round an excellent experience. A must if you come to La Digue
The setting in which this lodge is located is everything you want for a holiday in La Digue. The staff members are polite and extremely helpful.
We did not get the chance to experience it. I was contacted a short time before check in to say they had made a mistake but not to worry they had arranged a replacement. This turned out to be an open air jungle lodge.
The locaion is great, it's quiet, right next to a spa and positioned well to get to either side of the island. We hired bikes here as well - easy to do and definitely a must. Stephan on reception is really friendly and very, very helpful. He's a massive asset to the business and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are actually separate lodges, all really well looked after, clean and well-sized with fan and aircon. A perfect stay, hope to come again!
We stayed at the Le Union Estate. This was exceptionally special! There are 4 houses situated away from the Lodge, but you can rent a bike and cycle all over the island. The beach is a public beach, but it is almost secluded and very private. We enjoyed this accommodation very much. The houses have 2 bedrooms with bathrooms and a kitchen. A lovely stoep in front. Highly recommended!
the facilities are very nice outside and the lodge is big but very basic compared to a 5stars hotel in Mahe; so it was a downgrade to where we previously were
