La Digue
La Digue Island Lodge has its own diving centre on Anse Reunion Beach. A sun terrace overlooking the ocean sits by the pool with swim-up bar. Creole-style accommodation is spread among tropical gardens. Friendly staff, beautiful well kept grounds with an amazing beach right on your doorstep! Pool was great!
The lodge was beautiful, friendly staff and very close to Anse Source d’Argent
We come back to La Digue after 15 yrs and the lodge has still the best structure close to Anse Source D’Argent
An amazing and unique experience staying in the "Robinson Crusoe Lodge". A beautifully constructed room in the jungle made from local wood. The breakfast and diners were good made with high quality local produce. Gerrard and his staff looked after our every need. Fantastic views, a jungle trail with giant tortoise and fantastic views. All round an excellent experience. A must if you come to La Digue
The setting in which this lodge is located is everything you want for a holiday in La Digue. The staff members are polite and extremely helpful.
The staff arranged pick up and drop off from the ferry. This was great as there are limited number of cars on the island. The location of the lodge is great, close to the main beaches. Tips to book your bike early to avoid the wait in the morning. The view from the restaurant is nice
The location was very good and close to the national park and beautiful beach of anse d’argent. the lodge itself was very nice.
The locaion is great, it's quiet, right next to a spa and positioned well to get to either side of the island. We hired bikes here as well - easy to do and definitely a must. Stephan on reception is really friendly and very, very helpful. He's a massive asset to the business and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are actually separate lodges, all really well looked after, clean and well-sized with fan and aircon. A perfect stay, hope to come again!
We stayed at the Le Union Estate. This was exceptionally special! There are 4 houses situated away from the Lodge, but you can rent a bike and cycle all over the island. The beach is a public beach, but it is almost secluded and very private. We enjoyed this accommodation very much. The houses have 2 bedrooms with bathrooms and a kitchen. A lovely stoep in front. Highly recommended!
the facilities are very nice outside and the lodge is big but very basic compared to a 5stars hotel in Mahe; so it was a downgrade to where we previously were
You'll have a comfortable bungalow with a terrace all to yourself. There's a safe, a fridge, a kettle and instant coffee in the room. For breakfast there is toast, jam, butter, fruit, juice, coffee and eggs. There's also a cheap and tasty takeaway called Rey and Josh (a 9-minute walk from the guesthouse). You can exchange your money at the nearest bank (a 2 min walk) as well as take a PCR test at La Digue island lodge. Note that you cannot pay by card at many places on La Digue, including this takeaway.
