Exceptional guest house. Such a pleasure to share Patricia's beautiful home for a few days. It has been restored to such a high standard, the reception rooms were comfortable and the grounds & pool were stunning. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathroom & linens of high quality. Patricia was welcoming & made our stay so relaxing. The location of the property is superb - central yet quiet - parking & garaging onsite a real bonus, and she was so helpful with her knowledge of the local restaurants and cognac houses. She got the balance of being available to us and giving us our privacy just right. Highly recommend and would definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again.

We stayed in many beautiful holiday homes over the years, but this gîte truly stands out as the most complete we've ever experienced: the property has absolutely everything you could possibly need and more! From the fantastic swimming pool and a fully equipped gym to a football field and pétanque court, there was no shortage of activities to keep our family entertained! A real highlight was the wonderful hospitality of Kev and Barb: their warm welcome made us feel right at home, and the daily delivery of fresh croissants was such a lovely touch! The surrounding area is also fantastic for cycling, and we especially appreciated the route (between the Cognac vineyards!) Kev mapped out for our sporty kids – it was perfect for them😉 Overall, our stay was absolutely fantastic!

Quiet, comfortable, lovely garden and pool. We have now stayed here three times. We love it. It is dog friendly, plenty of room for ball throwing! The owners are very friendly and helpful, but very discreet - they leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet this gite offers. It is very comfortable, clean, light and airy. The terrace has new table and chairs and is a lovely place to enjoy a meal as it offers shade from mid afternoon. The pool is excellent. There is private off road parking. For us it was perfect. It is a rural property with no cafés bars or shops within walking distance, but plenty of places to walk on quiet lanes tracks and woods. It's not perhaps the place if you want action. We highly recommend staying here.
