Located in Torquay, a 3-minute walk from Torre Abbey Sands Beach, Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa has accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

While I have stayed in Torquay a dozen or more times, this was my first time at this hotel. A good choice, with a lovely cooked breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff exceptional. Indoor heated pool, steam, and sauna all used and good. The only slightly disappointing bit was the very small gym - one piece of gym equipment, a couple (very light) dumbbells and a piece or two of cardio. Not useful in the least for me, but there are luckily larger gyms just a few minutes walk away (which of course you will have to pay for). A minute walk to the sea front, a leisurely five minute stroll to the station, and a 10-15 minute walk to shops and restaurants in the city centre.

we loved the room, it was very comfortable and nicely decorated. the garden is lovely as well as the breakfast. we felt very looked after and Lynn and Paul are very attentive, caring hosts. we got some lovely flapjacks on arrival and a treat bag of sweets for our journey home on check out!

    Superb lunch, (as to be expected, probably deserves a second Michelin starin our opinion!) Wonderful views. Very interesting vineyard tour. Lovely choice for breakfast, skilfully prepared. Comfy bed, even our 'Classic Room' was beautifully appointed. All the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful

    the room, with the location and views. step out the door its all around you. wonderful welcome, value was outstanding. Breakfast was superb and well presented. Hotel is of an age , this is apparant in areas. But an uplift is happening on the property,good things to come.. Staff are busy in house and compliment the business.

    Luxury is the correct description, beautifully presented and well thought out and presented and impeccably clean decoration with everything you need for your stay, couldn’t fault the accommodation a real gem, and location is superb literally a 5 to 10 minute easy walk to the centre of Exmouth shopping and restaurants an probably an extra 5 minutes to the beach and promenade

    The hotel was situated with an elevated view of the sea and was easy to find and access. Joseph gave me a warm welcome and I felt that he genuinely wanted to make my stay a relaxed and happy one. This may only be a 2-star hotel but the service was 5-star! One of the best things about the room, as well as the view, was being able to take time to have a long luxurious bath!! I would be happy to come back again.

    Not a lot. Bar closed early. Apricot bathroom suite. Shower over bath in the luxury suite. Dirty room. Chipped paint. Cobwebs. Distant sea view. Poor breakfast. Very over priced. Old stained carpets. Very disappointing. Staff were friendly and helpful.
