Beautiful only problem we had was emptying the hot tub we couldn’t get the plug out, Amazing little place right in the town centre

With an elegant Jacobean Great Hall, this resort a features a leisure centre and traditional restaurant.

Everything you could ask for as a base near Lancaster, with great facilities and lovely places to visit nearby. Lovely leisure area with pool for a daily swim. The studio room was large and clean. We had a longer stay than usual, so used the cleaning service a couple of times. You do need a car to get around, but the small shop is handy on the premises, if you run out of the basics. Great choice of eateries in local pubs and in the city. There is also a lovely restaurant on site if you want to eat in.

Nice modern room with neutral decor. Comfortable bed, nice powerful shower and nice breakfast cooked to order. The evening meal was very nice.

When you want to get away from it all, you really can at Grange Manor.

The hotel was lovely, bright, fresh and the room was stunning. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. All the small details were there and it was a fantastic visit. The hot tub was lovely and the bathroom was nice and well laid out. Having dressing gowns, slippers and all the toiletries means you don't have to worry about forgetting anything.

Situated just 36 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Capernwray House provides accommodation in Carnforth with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as bicycle parking.

Capernwray House is a lovely place to stay with excellent facilities, in a beautiful part of north Lancashire. The room we stayed in, (Kingfisher) was both spacious and very well equipped, with everything you could ever need. The breakfast was superb, with an extensive menu to cater for all tastes, and plentiful. Thank you Mel for making our stay so memorable.

    Had breakfast both mornings which was superb. No lunch needed! Also ate here on Sunday evening which was lovely. We had a luxury suite at Town House with small patio garden acccess which was great. Very comfy, excellent bathroom. Staff were very helpful and always smiling!

    The staff were wonderfully helpful. The ambience excellent. Facilities superb. Swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room all beautifully finished and clean. Top quality standard. The location excellent and access to Lancaster University just a short 2 minute stroll away. A joy to stay here.

    Everything was amazing especially the food but when I booked it, it said £87 when we arrived and payed it was £108 which was a let down. Thought the guy who checked us in was quite arrogant didn't really wanna talk and looked quite miserable. Not the smiling face you expect from front of house on arrival . Hats off to the chef though food was outstanding 👌

    The accommodation itself was simply stunning, with exquisite attention to detail in every corner. Our room was spacious and elegantly decorated, complete with all the amenities. Overall, I can confidently say that this 5-star accommodation is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. From the stunning decor to the exceptional service, every detail was simply perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Wonderful stay, staff were very helpful and our room was perfect. We also booked to have our evening meal at the Toll House which was amazing, our steaks were cooked to perfection and we sent our compliments to the fab chef! The staff seemed to be working non stop and always had a smile on their faces.

    Excellent Hosts who looked after us very well providing us with outstanding accommodation a superb cooked breakfast and accommodation and helpful local information on the surrounding area and the local places to eat . We had our evening meals at the Fleece Inn which was also excellent. Sally and Simon will make you welcome but don,t just take my word for it just book and go.
