There is nothing to fault about this property. It was superb. We were so looked after Kevin and Kathryn the owners were so friendly and helpful. And Linda was lovely
The breakfast was excellent very well presented and loads of choices.
Lovely to sit in evening looking at superb view with a Gin and tonic from the honesty bar letting the world go by!!what more could one want and then to sleep in luxury.
The property is of a high quality in all regards and it is full of character. The garden is pretty with lots of seating and the views are outstanding. A 5 star experience in all respects.
Large airy room lovely toiletries great tv. We had dinner on 2 nights and each meal was brilliant. Breakfast was good with top quality produce. Many thanks to the young chef who was superb. All staff extremely pleasant and professional
The hotel and gardens were beautiful. The room was brilliant and the bed so comfortable I could have stayed forever. The food was excellent and the service superb. The staff were friendly and helpful. The chef produced amazing food and it was served beautifully - I would stay again anytime. I will need to diet the food was so exceptional. Presentation was perfect.
Exceptional, the host was welcoming and super efficient, the breakfast was superb, quality of food outstanding, the on the vine tomatoes and porcini mushrooms really set it above the norm, spotlessly clean throughout. Bathrobe and slippers were a lovely surprise. Less than 5 minute walk to the amazing river Wye. Looking forward to returning.
A fun and slightly quirky place. Not your 5 star luxury but a great place to lay your head for a peaceful and economical night's sleep. The TV was TINY!! (but as I don't watch TV it didn't bother me). It might annoy some...
I was given a room with a bath, which was very welcome after walking 18 miles that day. The room was plain but spotlessly clean, and the bed comfortable. I ate at the hotel, in the dining room and the food (chicken & ham hock pie), though not outstanding, was tasty enough.
The staff were polite & friendly.
The hotel is very well positioned and the view from the terrace amazing.
