I was in Wolverhampton attending a gig at a local venue and not only was Holcombe House close to the venue, it was also fantastic value for money. The general manager Jay was incredibly responsive to all of my messages and was possibly the best remote host I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. My room was immaculate and the shower had enough pressure and plenty of hot water. The only thing that was missing for me was a decaffeinated option for the coffee but without a shadow of a doubt I believe that if I'd raised this with Jay prior to my arrival it would have been there. I will know for next time.

Lovely building, superb beer garden/courtyard. Exemplary staff who showed pride in their building, food drink & knowledge. Best bed I have EVER slept in. Superb shower & blackout curtains. Breakfast was excellent
