It was just what we needed, a long day on the road and it was a last minute booking as we were all tired and just wanted somewhere to stop and rest up for another day on the road.

Beach House Motel is situated opposite Townsville Beach, surrounded by the restaurants, cafes, bars and shops along The Strand. Guests have access to an outdoor saltwater swimming pool.

We were greeted by the bright, bubbly and organized women at reception who had us checked in quickly and efficiently. The room was clean and comfy and was well equipped with everything we needed to self cater. It was terrific to have access to a laundry room so I could catch up with our washing with both washing machine and dryers available. You can also use the drying racks that are in the wardrobe. Felt like being at home with the big flat screen TV in our room. The location of the motel was great as it's beachfront. Parking was on premises right in front of our unit. We were not aware of any traffic noise whilst inside. We didn't swim in the well maintained pool but it did look inviting. There is a Coles supermarket within easy walking distance and lots of choice for cafes etc surrounding the motel.

    The rooms were old fashioned but clean, very functional and everything worked. The restaurant at the front of the hotel (Shore House) had a interesting, Asian based, menu and also a bar. We arrived fairly late in the evening and didn't want a full meal so had a couple of entrees and a glass of wine, all of which were excellent. We had a very good breakfast at Odyssey which is next door to the motel.

    great view from our room (902a) nice place for a stroll and free parking which is a bonus there was also a washing machine and dryer which was amazing as we’d been on the road for days! my daughter loved the dip in the pool and the reception gave us pool towels. thank you

    The motel was in an excellent location and had plenty of free parking. Our room was really big with a lovely big bathroom and shower. The WiFi was superfast and it was good having the small kitchen in the room. Denise was so kind and helpful to us and made us so welcome. I can't recommend this motel enough!
