The location is very nice. Although cited as "Boulder, CO," Foot of the Mountain is kinda like a small town outside of Boulder. Since I had a service dog with me, the "woodsy" terrain near the motel was a pleasure for him to roam. Room was decent sized and very comfortable for myself and my service dog. The breakfast was modest, yet completely acceptable and it was free of charge, always a nice hospitality. The staff was very available and helpful..

A quirky, older motel that takes you back in time but with upgraded facilities mixed with 50's charm. Small but very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast very good and well attended. They allowed us an early check in and staff were exceptionally friendly.

This motel was amazingly quaint and gave just the vibe I wanted to have staying in the mountains. The room was cozy, warm, and clean. The breakfast had lots of options and they had snacks available through the day which was nice to be able to grab and go. The surroundings were amazing. The motel is located right at a park and a little mountain stream which was beautiful. There were paved walking trails and access to unpaved trails. The staff was helpful and friendly and the GM gave great local advice.

Motel is on the outskirts of the city, but not difficult to get too. Room was nice, bed comfortable, room clean. Breakfast area was nice and breakfast was decent. Also, there are plenty of eating places close by. They do charge an extra 20 dollars in case you damage something while there, but should be returned within 10 days otherwise.

I loved the location - there were numerous hikes, biking paths, rental bikes, etc just right across the street. We love the quaint, non-commercialized, norweigan-looking motel. The staff was super helpful - I felt like we shared the same ideals. We were able to walk downtown and we loved that it was tucked right in the mountains:)
