We have been staying here for the last 3+ years both on vacation and work. The owners are very nice and remember my wife so we always get the same room. Very comfortable and the hot tub is great after a long ride.

It’s the most comfortable mattress we have ever stayed on in a motel. The sheets are always clean and smell like home. The pillows are perfect. They even created lines between each space so doors could be opened without hitting car next to you. Old style outdoor chairs in front give it a definite “retro” feel. Inside is very spacious both depth and width. Very comfortable bed, good shower head and counter space. The theme of the rooms are designed around their number (I was in 1977 with Bee Gee and John Travolta disco pictures). They also use old fashioned room keys. Very creative, yet subtle and tasteful.

There is a great lo al brewery and restaurant opposite motel. Room was a good size, nice hot shower with lots of towels. Breakfast was usual motel selection but a good stocked hot plate each day.

The motel is located within walking distance of several good restaurants. This is the third time I've stayed at the Retro, and each visit has been excellent. The room rate was very reasonable, although my visits were always in the winter, so maybe I had off-season rates.
