The lady in charge was nice. Overburdened, as she is late middle age, and apparently on her own and also does the rooms on her own.

I traveled from Las Vegas Nevada to Van Buren to watch the total solar eclipse. The motel 6 was expensive at $180 a night, but less expensive than hotels closer to centerline. The accommodations were fair, clean, but Spartan. Decent for an overnight stay.

I am not wild about breakfast in motels though I did eat some eggs and a sausage. I made my own coffee. I prefer Keurig Coffee Makers in rooms. My room had a Mr. Coffee.

Outdoor pool was great. Nice chairs and tables. I enjoyed the hot breakfast when many motels have eliminated that service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location offered a number of restaurants and Walmart was close by

Breakfast was standard fare for this type of motel. nothing special. The location was great--right off I-40, which is the main reason I chose it.
