Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s Bay. It is a 16-minute walk from Mt Vernon Akaroa. Check in was easy; staff very friendly and accommodating. The bed was super comfortable and the linen was great quality. Little touches like the way the bed was dressed made such a difference. The couch was also very comfortable and the property clearly takes its commitment to cleaning very seriously. The toiletries in the bathroom were also of a great quality; presenting them in the pump packs is so much nicer than in the tiny squeeze packs. Better fro the environment too; less waste. The towels in the bathroom were soft and fluffy and hadn't been boiled to within an inch of their lives. All of this coupled with a lovely view of the water made this hotel a surprise packet; such good value for our 2 night getaway.

Greymouth Scenicland Motels is 3 minutes' walk from shops and restaurants and 200m from the Greymouth District Aquatic Centre. It is 15 minutes' walk from the beach. Shantytown is 10 minutes' drive away. The tour desk can arrange cycling along the West Coast Wilderness Cycle Trail, hiking and fishing trips. We got late getting into Greymouth and the property owner switched on the heating and warmed up our beds when we arrived. It was perfect. The beds were big and warm and the washrooms and kitchen so well equipped that it was a shame we couldn't live more. Also the car was parked right infront of the room so it made our lives so simple. Perfect.

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. There is free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. The hotel was very conveniently located to Hooker Valley attraction.

Located on 10 acres of gardens, Golfcourse Road Chalets and Lodge with lovely lake, mountain or golf course views. Just 4 minutes’ drive from Lake Wanaka, the property features free WiFi and barbecue facilities. Shona was delightful and the chalet and property were beautiful and quiet. Very clean with a great view and awesome shower

Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. Set on 2 acres of gardens featuring native trees, tulips, roses and fruit trees, the spacious grounds include a covered BBQ area with picnic tables. Great location right above the city center, all the restaurants are within walking distance and even one of the wineries (the Maude winery) was right behind the corner, so we paid it a visit. The lady at the reception was very friendly and overall super helpful. The room was very clean, the kitchen well equipped and the A/C was a great addition (apparently you can’t find it in every hotel in NZ). We only stayed for one night, but it would be perfect for a longer vacation. It it also very calm and I can imaging that it’s quite kids friendly.

The self-catering apartments also include free unlimited WiFi, and a Smart TV. The facilities and rooms were excellent, and the bed very comfi and spacious.

Northwood Motor Lodge is a 4-star motel on the edge of Christchurch, only 8km from the airport. The motel offers modern, air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi.

The motel is located within large grounds and has a great garden. Leisure facilities include a barbecue area, and playground. The owner is very friendly, and he lead us to the room. The room is clean, comfortable and well organized.

Sahara Deluxe Studios offers accommodation in Dunedin near Dunedin School of Dentistry and Olveston. The property is close to Toitu Otago Settlers Museum, The Octagon and Dunedin Railway Station. Otago Business Park is 700 metres away and University of Otago is 500 metres from the motel. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodation was well located about 15min walk from the Octagon or the stadium. Room was comfortable and warm with great selection of Sports options on the TV channels and wifi included.
