Lovely host on arrival, the mountains were great for more experienced skiers. My children struggled as beginners, but this is perhaps because the resort was very icey at our time of visiting. Cosy cabin, our kids loved it!

The dinner and breakfast are really delicious. And the Madarao Ski Resort is closely. We enjoy the vacation on Madarao and this hostel. All of things are great.

First, the location is amazing. Togari is a small town but still, the hotel is located right in front of the bus station, the resort, and the best restaurant of the city. For that I highly recommend this place. Our guest were very nice as well. The room were very functional but clean, and there is a little shared Onsen downstairs.

Location was quite nice. Walking distance to Madarao Ski Resort. The building was quite old but have been renovated. It is a little bit unique to have Japanese Room but not with futon. So It is like a fusion hotel. I hope they can fixed the onsen soon as it is very important to sink after tiring day. Overall nice stay.

We were very happy to manage to find some place to stay during the most busy weekend. We could park very close to the hotel, room was warm and spacious. Although hotel is a little on the old side we did not mind. There was an Onsen downstairs and some vending machines. Nice curry house just in front of the hotel. But we really enjoyed conversations with Gabor (thank you again for all the advises on where to snowboard) indeed the ski resort you talked about was amazing!

Staff were extremely friendly, location was only about 5-8 minutes from resort depending on amount of snow/ice on ground. For the price compared to other places around the area, breakfast exceeds ALL expectations though this is from a western perspective.

Thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at the Madarao Mountain Lodge. Used it as a very convenient base for 3 nights to ski the Madarao, Nozawa and Myoko resorts. Good atmosphere / good dining / good pricing and good location. Proximity to the slope is a brisk 1 minute walk. Highly recommend and will be back!
