The lounge area with the giant fireplace is awesome, very nice food, very spacious rooms and first class facilities such as the onsens and indoor swimming pool. The decor could be interpreted as dated (as other reviews have stated) but we felt this simply adds to the warmth and cosiness of the establishment. The service here is seriously next level and it is fantastic value for money.

Very comfortable and spacious room, terrace looking to the lake. nice breakfast. Ted, our host was very helpful and hospitable. Short distance from the snow monkey park.

JR Karuizawa Station and Karuizawa Shopping Plaza are a 12-minute drive from the resort. Loocation: is perfect, we had a car, it was easy to reach. Food: we had breakfast in the hotel, the food was delicious and had variety. Room: very spacious with view of Mt Asama and overlooking beautiful hotel grounds. The hotel has an onsen ( public bath).

Restaurant Beaux Sejours offers Western cuisine for breakfast and dinner. There are also 7 other restaurants in the resort area. Meal options include Sukiyaki, Shabu-shabu, Sushi, Western buffet, Chinese and Italian cuisine. The view from our room overlooking the pond was beautiful. It snowed the second day we were there and it was magical watching it snow and hang in the trees. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Our room was warm, spacious and comfortable. The staff were lovely, always helpful. The drinks available in the lounge after 5pm were great. The food was traditional and high class service.

The spacious rooms offer beautiful views of the surrounding nature, while Free WiFi is available in public areas and in the guest room. Breakfast was incredible and the amenities are top tier. I was thoroughly impressed with the resort and I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Hakuba

The included breakfast and dinner are wonderful, and the spa is a lovely place to relax. Lots of thoughtful touches in the hotel like stargazing equipment, a coffee machine and a little snack bar.
