We much appreciated the setting in nature, being close to the rainforest. We were so lucky - after breakfast a mother orangutan with its baby sitting on a tree just beside the outside restaurant.....

We arrived before check-in time but the staff were kind enough to allow us to check in early at no extra charge. We booked a room for 3 people and paid the extra bed fee but were given a chalet MUCH larger than expected.SitiGroup

Saw hornbills in the trees on our way to the restaurant. The resort serves a great range of meals with a cafe open between times. Staff are really friendly. Rooms are beautiful with hammocks outside if the mood takes you. The orangutan and sun bear sanctuary are only two minutes walk away. The perfect place to explore Sepilok.

Perfect place to relax after a long flight. Taxis are cheap and easy to get (use the Grab app). We did a couple of day trips - Orangutan sanctuary etc with our fantastic driver Ringo.
