A return visit to this lovely hostel that we discovered last year. It is in a super location for getting out and about in Dunbar. A warm welcome by Anna and very comfortable accommodation. We particularly like the flexibility around the shared dining and kitchen facility (including the premium preserves at breakfast) and as an opportunity to meet and chat with interesting travellers. Thank you.

Lakeside lodge was just the perfect stay we needed, park was very well kept and clean and tidy! The lodge was immaculate inside with all mod cons required! All the little additions made it so personal and very welcoming! Both adults and kids had a great time.

Really clean, spacious and comfortable room. Even though it's above a popular (and excellent!) pub you don't hear a thing - quiet location and just half an hour from Edinburgh.

The Spa and pool looked great, but didn't use them only because the weather was so good( we took advantage of the coastal walks).

Fabulous location, just down the road from the beach and a short walk to the harbour. Food was fabulous, so much so we ate twice in the evening. Room was small but just what we needed. Dog friendly too which is a huge bonus!
Very nice hotel, extremely dog friendly and super clean with very friendly attentive staff, lovely food and a great location. This is the 1st time we have been but certainly won't be the last. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a nice break in Dundar.
Everything. I couldn't fault it at all. Dog friendly, great location, very clean, very comfortable bed, lovely room. We had dinner in the hotel both nights and it was excellent. Breakfast lovely with a very good choice. All in all it was excellent
A very warm welcome, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Lovely little bar where we met other residents and had some good chat and cocktails. Breakfast was lovely and cooked fresh for each guest. There appeared to be no limits to the breakfast you could order. Lovely evening meal on the Friday night. Exceptionally reasonable and a great location. When they say dog friendly they mean dog friendly and there were no restrictions for where we could eat or drink.
Friendly staff. Pet friendly. Beautiful views of the ocean and landscape. Easy access to John Muir coastal trail, which was a very nice walk. Dog friendly park very close by.
I loved the location, but above all, pet friendly which was very important to us.
The host was friendly and chatty.
The self-catering kitchen was well equipped and there was even a complimentary breakfast that we didn't expect which was a good add-on.
