We had a great weekend at Quayside. It was immaculately clean, the kitchen area was really well equipped with coffee and milk ready for us after a long drive.
Beds were really comfy, we all slept well.
Communication was great too, mainly over emails but we had a courtesy phone call letting us know the place was ready for us.
A welcoming folder with loads of great tips for food and places to visit was ideal.

Perfect location, close to the coastal walk and with great views. Everything had been thought about and had everything we needed despite the small space. Owners were extremely helpful and responsive when we had a slight issue out of their control

Location
As a port town, there are plenty of roadside parking spaces available. It's close to beautiful scenic spots, and you can easily drive to the beach to watch the sunset. Getting to Dublin by boat is also convenient, with the pier just a few minutes away.
Service
Although the hotel doesn’t operate 24 hours, assistance is provided promptly when needed. There was a reminder to book a restaurant in advance, but unfortunately, I didn't make a reservation and had to settle for fast food—which wasn't ideal as I prefer to avoid too much fried food.
Experience
The room had a friendly atmosphere, though I didn’t engage much with others due to being more introverted. The environment was clean, and the stairs were minimal—anyone with average physical strength should have no difficulty getting around.

Perfect place to stay if catching the ferry to Ireland as it is a 5 min drive from the ferry terminal. Good recommendations for eateries and was dog friendly. Our room had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious, and the conservatory is so pleasant for a sunny start to the day while dining. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very welcoming to my dog. Beds were extremely comfortable, and the shower was powerful. Car park excellent and safe. Location perfect. Beach opposite the hotel, and a cove, both fantastic.
Hotel is conveniently located for the ferry. Such an ideal pet friendly place to spend the night after a ferry crossing. I stayed before, and I will definitely book again.
This was our first visit but I found The Haven excellent with a lovely room, good breakfast and Phil and Sian were friendly and approachable. I thought the guide books in the room with places to see and places to eat nearby was a nice touch. This was also our first time staying in a pet friendly place as we are adopted a dog two months ago and he was made to feel just as welcome as we were. I think for the standard of room and service, The Haven is exceptionally well priced.
Gwyneth is a warm kind friendly and helpful host, the property is beautifully laid out and well appointed, including separate decent sized freezer, particularly nice was to find a tray of goodies including tea coffee and biscuits and even a bottle of wine which was delicious. The TV is smart with all the usual apps. The location is calm and peaceful, with pleasant surroundings and the added interest and cuteness of their donkeys! The place is very pet friendly with our own secure garden and towels and blankets for our dog.
The breakfast was lovely good choices and cooked to perfection. The location was beautiful stunning views a stone throw from hotel. Plenty of parking on site. Pet friendly but we had no problem with the dogs that were there all well behaved .
Love the location, views are amazing, lovely and peaceful up there. Beautiful property and surroundings. The Garden Room as its named is the part of the property we were staying in, was very cute with en suite, with fridge, and cereals and other breakfast items. There was milk and fruit juice in the fridge and a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. The host was very nice lady who came to greet us. Plus its dog friendly with a fenced field for dogs to run in.
Where do I start.. stunning apartment, with lovely sea views perfect location.as we were traveling to Ireland by ferry the day after , the port was 4 mins away...in the apartment everything we needed, beautiful and clean, we fetched our little pug she loved the dog treat basket, we appreciated the pint of milk for a cuppa after a long drive, sweet welcome sign on arriving, a lot of thought had gone into making our stay perfect, would highly recommend.
