Loved that this was located in the rolling hills of the Lake District. It was a perfect location with the sounds of the surrounding farmland. However it was not so remote that you could not to everything within a few minutes drive. They had a great range of food options for breakfast as well as dinner if you chose to dine at night there. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again!

Location ideally situated not far from J36 of M6 but snuggled in amongst fields & woodland. Extensive grounds with lovely walks & lots of wildlife. Imposing building with beautiful original features & very well appointed rooms. Dog friendly including a second dining space where dogs are allowed too. Wide & varied menu with great gluten free options. Staff very friendly, welcoming & helpful.
Conveniently located and ideal for an overnight stay travelling north-south. Welcomes dogs, even large ones. High quality dinner and breakfast. I was travelling with elderly relatives and they found the Villa Levens warm and comfortable. Thank you for being so accommodating. Lovely welcome on arrival.
Beautiful hotel, we booked last minute as our camping trip didn't quite go to plan and having to sleep in the car for the night. We booked this hotel the day we were driving home as we was tired and it was half way home. Great access to M6 made the drive home today so much easier. Also love that it was dog friendly, think he was happier than us to not be sleeping in the car again. We can't wait to come back to the villa now.
We found it was very dog friendly and loved the location and friendly staff.
Room was warm and large. I had a table to use for the hobby I brought with me to do. That was a bonus.
The building, gardens, fantastic food. dog friendlyness, local walks and its conveniant location make this a perfect venue for walkers with or without pets.
