Everything! The cottage, the hosts, the location, the views! All was perfection. I doubt we could have found a more heavenly place to stay. We loved the dogs, the bird feeders outside the door with all the different birds visiting, the squirrels playing on the lawn, the fire burning on our arrival, the games room and the advice from Kate of places to see. I cannot help but wax lyrical about Swallow Farm, perfect!

Lovely place to stay. This is the second time this year and we will go back next year. Friendly, helpful staff. The food is excellent. Lovely location. It’s great that there is an external access door open all the time to get the dogs out after the bar closes.

Absolutely wonderful! Spacious, with everything and more you could wish for. We could even enjoy the rainy days as we played billiard and enjoying the evenings on comfy sofas and with the wood stove. Hosts and dogs and cat very friendly :-)

Very friendly owners and staff. We enjoyed our one night stay very much in this lovely quirky old hotel. Set on the square in the middle of town with handy free parking . Child and dog friendly accomodation. Catering for walkers, cyclists fishing enthusiasts or casual travelers serving a variety of bar or restaurant meals. A good array of alcoholic or soft drinks.
