    The room was well appointed, very spacious and dog-friendly with access to the gardens. The bathroom was also well appointed and very spacious. Dinner was great, though the restaurant initially didn't seem to have any tables set aside for people staying at the hotel on a DB&B rate, which seems odd. Breakfast was also good.

    Spacious, comfortable room with spa bath in large bathroom. Quiet location in lots of grounds. Friendly and competent staff in both hotel and restaurant. Very nice country house feel. Copious breakfast and relaxed but classy dining in restaurant.

    I suggest to ask for a room on the 1st floor. The room was clean, pretty & nicely sized. Breakfast was gorgeous, all you can eat for just £10. The grounds of the hotel is gorgeous with a lot of greenery, it’s also dog friendly. There was a wedding during our stay which gave a nice ambiance to our stay.
