I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Rachel for her outstanding customer service! When I booked our room a couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that my wife and I had stayed here after our wedding 17 years ago. This hotel holds a special place in our hearts, and now that our kids are 16 and 14 and fairly independent, we can enjoy an evening together without worry. My wife brought her Styrofoam pillow for medical reasons, but unfortunately, we forgot to take it home. Thankfully, since we live in Gretna, I called the front desk, and Rachel took my number, promising to follow up once housekeeping arrived. When I went to pick up the pillow, I shared our story of staying here all those years ago. Rachel immediately recognized us and said, "Oh, that was you! We upgraded your room to celebrate your 17 years." Thank you so much, Rachel! Your kindness and attention to detail made our stay truly special. It was incredibly humble of you to go above and beyond without expecting any recognition. In fact, had it not been for my own forgetfulness and our conversation, your thoughtful gesture might have gone completely unnoticed. The room was equipped with absolutely no amenities. There were no hangers to hang a coat., there was no comfortable chair to sit in, there were no hooks to hang towels or facecloths, towels were bigger and substandard, shampoo provided,there was no refrigerator, there was no microwave, there were no plastic cups. The hallways were a disgraceful mess and there is no breakfast facility whatsoever. The one possible amenity was the comfort of the bed which was a 6 out of 10.
