We were looking for a one-night stop over from our drive back from Italy (to the Rotterdam ferry) and this was just perfect. Celia was a wonderful host. The property was easy to find and very clean. Outside there is some private seating. Inside the space is used very well so the living area feels spacious (and there's bags of storage if you were staying for more than a night). The kitchen has everything needed for cooking a meal; it's not just a breakfast bar. The only 'good to know' might be is the kitchen and main entrance is at the foot of the bed, so if one of you wants a quiet lie in it's a big ask, and it you are large people, getting in and out of bed might be a squeeze. Neither of these things bothered us and we'll definitely put it on our list of places to stay again.

We felt at home immediately. Peaceful location, after dinner we spent evening on the terrace watching sun go down. Great communication and when my son left something there by mistake the host communicated it to us and arranged return?. What a little gem of a find

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Arriving at La maisn du vannier was like being welcomed home. Anne-Sophie greeted us like old friends. She has a wonderful warm approach and wasted no time in showing us around and making us feel completely at ease. The room had everything that we needed, has really fun decoration, a comfy bed, and super shower. We had use of the communal kitchen to make tea/coffee, even prepare our own meals if we needed to, and could keep drinks/food in the communal fridge/freezer. In the morning we were treated to an amazing continental breakfast.. it was a real feast. It was a shame we were only there for one night! Great value for money. We had a dinner (nice decision as there's no restaurants nearby) cooked by the owner's mother and it was delicious and value for money. "Home Away From Home".

The incredible friendly and hospitable host Guenter made this stay wonderful. The dinner he served was top notch, the breakfast was incredible (!!). Also the house itself, the guest rooms, the dining and breakfast rooms and the garden are amazing. Having a 0 years old baby with us was not a problem at all.
