Breakfasts were fantastic albeit had to wait 20min for the food to refreshed. Location of the manor house was beautiful.

It’s a lovely hotel. The views are great. Room lovely. But it’s not five star.

Rooms were clean and equipped well, staff were extremely friendly, especially Maria the wedding organiser, James on the front desk and who also helped at the wedding. Ollie at breakfast was also very polite and helpful.
The Wedding Breakfast food was lovely and hot and very nice. The perfect venue for a wedding.

Breakfast was lovely and I loved my room. The bed was comfortable, so I slept well.
Set in 225 wooded acres, this secluded hotel has a pool, a spa and a gym, with good motorway access. There is a championship golf course and tennis courts.
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Staff were friendly and helpful; Location excellent (we wanted a stay near Marwell zoo and this is right on the grounds so we could park in the hotel car park and walk straight across to the zoo entrance!); the setting was nice among the trees; We liked that it had a bar and restaurant and swimming pool (though we didn't use the pool as we anticipated); We liked that we could book a family room to fit 2 children and 2 adults comfortably
Location good for Winchester city and surrounding areas. Nice to have a swimming pool with a hotel. Room was large and cool. Beds very comfy. Towels nice white and fluffy. Bed linen very clean. Provided a upright fan. I had a settee in mine which made a change from lying on bed watching TV. Breakfast self service, but good selection of food
Great location for visiting Paultons Park, Peppa Pig World and Marwell Zoo. Unique style hotel wooden construction. Swimming pool very clean and a good size. Food was very good. Staff very efficient and friendly.
The staff were great, helpful and cheerful in all areas. We wanted a peaceful place and as this is in the countryside we couldn't hear any traffic. It wasn't busy so we were able to enjoy the sauna and heated indoor swimming pool. The dinner menu was the same everyday but this didn't cause us any issues we stayed five nights and the breakfast and dinners were very good. We were also next to Marwell zoo so spent Christmas eve there. It took us a leisurely 3.5hrs and we enjoyed the fresh air.
I like comfortable clean rooms, beautiful design. I like bar and restaurant with nice wine selection and delicious food. Thanks to chef. . I like professional and friendly stuff. Special thanks to Elsa from reception desk. She was really helpful and nice. I like swimming pool and hot tub and Sauna and lovely service in SPA.I will return to this hotel.
The staff were extremely helpful and kind - reception and the bar were first class. The room and layout of this modular hotel was very atmospheric, you felt like you were on a bit of an adventure. Table tennis, indoor swimming pool etc were all evident. The breakfast was also excellent and good value.
What an absolute delight! No slick, corporate anonymity here but a quirky, relaxing hotel with unusual accommodation- think Kenyan safari lodge. Good food, warm indoor swimming pool, very comfortable, clean spacious room with opening door and windows overlooking trees so very airy given we chose hottest week of the year. Fridge very handy as my partner needs somewhere cool for his insulin. Would definitely go again. Great spot if you want to visit Marwell zoo, same entrance! Seems good for disabled access and kid and dog friendly .
