Honestly, everything was perfect! Bev was so welcoming and informative when we arrived. She let us know about any events or live acts that were happening at the local pubs and what restaurants there were nearby. We let her know what our plans were during our stay, and she helped with travelling info, bus times, etc.The room was perfect and cosy. And sooo comfy. And the fact you had a lil glass sherry waiting for you. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and it was nice to know you had various options to choose from. The location of the hotel is very convenient, not too far from the train station and Lake windermere. The atmosphere in the hotel just felt very homely, safe, and trusting. We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend 100%. We do hope to come back in the future. The lake district is such a beautiful place 😍

The Quaysiders Club is located on the shore of Lake Windermere at Waterhead, which is a short walk from the village of Ambleside. Waterhead has several bars, restaurants and cafés.

The leisure spa at The Quaysiders Club has a small heated pool, a sauna and showers. There is also a barbecue area and laundry facilities available. We had side by side rooms to fit our family of 5. The rooms were well equipped with dishes. We also appreciated the extra seating so that we could all hang out in the larger room to watch a movie. The location was great. Easy walk to a Roman Fort, the lakefront, pubs, and also walkable into Ambleside. Our kids loved the hot tub. Staff were friendly.
