The owner Wim will go to great lengths to make you enjoy your stay. The breakfast is amazing: home made yoghurt, home made jam, fresh squeezed orange juice, the eggs are made from the chicken they have at the back of the property. He will make the breakfast specially for you. The beds and pillows are super comfy and the hotel is fresh as new! I definitely recommend this place.

Owner of hotel was super friendly with personal attendance to the guests. Provided us with private bicycles free of charge. Room is big with every item on its place. We have been traveling a lot for many years and it is the first hotel with shower not flooding outside the cabin, just amazing. Highly recommended.

Perfect location near the Geel central square but not directly on it, so it's quieter. Wonderful staff, they lent me a bike for free so I could commute by bike to work for the week.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Porta Cite. The room was clean, large, excellent facilities, the restaurant food was delicious, and the staff helped me organise the taxi with no trouble. I enjoyed my stay so much that I came back a second time to stay. The proximity to Elaisa Wellness is also great, which is why I stayed both times.
