Situated in the heart of Sofia, within walking distance of many parks and cultural hotspots, Hyatt Regency Sofia offers a wellness centre, a rooftop bar and the exclusive Regency Club lounge. I got a free room upgrade, I guess. Then, I got stuck in a disabled elevator on my way to the restaurant. It seems that not many disabled people use that elevator. However, the staff handled the situation professionally and managed to get it working again. As a gesture of goodwill, they offered me a complimentary fruit plate. For me, it was quite amusing, although I can imagine it wasn't as enjoyable for the staff.

Set a 5-minute walk from the Serdika underground railway station, the 5-star Grand Hotel Sofia is located right in the heart of Sofia, overlooking the City Garden. We have already stayed twice in this beautiful hotel located near the center of Sofia. The rooms are huge and very clean with wonderful bathroom. There is a free parking included if you are travelling by car. We will most likely stay again, when we visit Sofia next time.

In Sofia lives kind and lovely people.
In Sofia lives kind and lovely people. There's interesting handicraft - and art shops, plenty vegetarian restaurant and wide vary of different districts where you can see Sofia's long and rich history. And if you love roses and rose products, Sofia is yous city. Same thing if you're cat lover! Visiting Vitosha Mountain is a refreshing take off from the city which can be dusty. Superb town for independent voyagers!
