Park Hotel Asenevtsi is located in Veliko Tŭrnovo, 800 metres from Velchova Zavera square. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool, a children's playground and a restaurant with summer garden. This place is just fabulous. Great location with greenery all around, and only about 10 mins walk into the old town. There is a sidewalk lost of the way, except for the 200 or so meters just before the hotel, but the road is wide enough that i felt comfortable walking, and there isn't that much traffic. The pool at the hotel great, and the staff very nice and accommodating. I stayed for 2 nights and loved it.

Located in the centre of Veliko Tarnovo, behind the Theatre, family-run Priyateli Guest House offers a spacious garden, where breakfast is served every morning. Clean and comfortable room, short walk from the town centre. Parking available on the street, we were lucky to find a space but the host also reserves a space outside the hotel with a water jug. Breakfast was great, traditional options like mekitsa and banitsa as well as lots of cakes.

Location was the best, close to everything. A little noisy at night in the rooms facing the main street, but manageable. The best thing was that they allowed us a late check-in late in the evening, on a Friday night, and even allowed us to use their reserved parking spot in a nearby street during our stay.
