Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.

A 15-minute drive from the centre of Basel, Hotel Gasthof zum Ochsen enjoys a quiet location in the heart of Arlesheim, 8 km from Basel and 1,200 metres from the Goetheanum Centre in Dornach. Nice room, very hospitable staff, free fruit and beverages on each floor at all times. Good restaurant.

We stayed for three days. Hotel is just two minutes away is the station for tram 14, which takes you to the center for about 15-20 minutes. Near the hotel there is a supermarket, several fast foods and a bakery.
