The Gädi hotel enjoys a central and sunny location in Grächen, right next to the Märchen-Gondelbahn cable car that takes you into the heart of Hannigalp. The hotel won "most friendly hotel" award in 2017 - rightfully so, still amazingly friendly in 2022! The staff is welcoming, helpful, speaking English. The lady who met us (Melani) explained us around and suggested few great things to do for our short stay. The dinner (not included in price) was exceptional and breakfast (included in price) was also good. The stay includes a pass to go up on a cable car (definitely do it even for one glimpse, it's just 30 mins cable car roundtrip). Budget allowing, book it - it's one of the best stays in the area

Hotel Walliserkanne is situated in the pedestrian zone of Grächen. It features rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV and wooden floors. Beautiful boutique hotel in the center, close to the ski lift (5 minute walk). Brand new rooms with quality furniture, comfy bed, nice sheets. Shower has good water pressure which is nice after a day of skiing. Windows are well insulated so the noise from the bars did not bother us at all.

Hotel Alpha is located at the entrance of Grächen, just a 1-minute walk from the Hannigalp cable car. All rooms have a balcony. WLAN is available in the public areas. We Liked everything, it was just as we booked and expected.

The Hotel Alpina*** is a branch of the main Hotel Desirée***S and is about 2-3 minutes walk away. The Hannigalp Cable Car's valley station is 5 minutes' walk away. Everything was great, the staff was very friendly and they made it possible for a very late check-in. Room is big enough, have everything you need and the breakfeast is good. I would definitely come back.

The Lifestyle & Spa Hotel Grächerhof in Grächen near Zermatt offers Alpine-style rooms, fine cuisine and a spa area in the village centre. This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had, everything was great from our arrival. We were welcomed with a glass of wine in the sofa by the chimney during check in. We then stayed for excellent dinner at their restaurant La Torre - delicious pasta and tiramisù. Breakfast was abundant, with homemade cake, warm crunchy bread, and a cook who prepared eggs on the spot - would recommend the omelette. Staff members were really friendly! After a day of skiing in Zermatt, we could relax at the spa area, which was quiet and very well equipped (2 dry saunas, 1 humid sauna, jacuzzis, showers, an area for reading). Wish we would have stayed longer at this great hotel! Promised ourselves we will be back soon - grazie, merci for the stay Grächerhof!
