The location - about 25 km from Montreux or Évian - is fabulous. Views of Lake Geneva and the mountains are amazing. Hotel is 25 metres from the cascading stream (la Morge) that forms the border with France, to sing you to sleep. Quiet town that straddles the border with many restaurants, nature watching, cities nearby. Affordable by Swiss standards. Had breakfast at restaurant which was very good and the staff friendly. Even if you are literally a stone's throw from France, you do need a Swiss power adapter (narrower prongs than Europe).

Spacious, well-appointed apartment. On the 5th floor, (with elevator) the wall of sliders allows for a marvelous view of the rooftops, mountains and Lake Leman/ Lake Geneva. Once outside on the large balcony there is a wonderful sense of light and space. Loved the utilitarian kitchen as it was both efficient with quality appliances a small table to prep or for eating our breakfast and overall great natural light. Great sleeping in large comfortable bed. Clean, spacious bathroom with a separate toilet.

It was a wonderful apartment meeting all our needs. Unbelievable use of space and technology. The Staff was friendly and very helpful, they went out of their way for us. the Geneva card allowed us to use for free the bus and tram from the airport to the Hotel then after our stay the train station. We also used the boat transportation on Lake Geneva for free using the card. Having a diverse coffee machine available 24/7 was so nice. We enjoyed a drink on the ninth-floor patio. We will stay there again.

Staff were extremely polite and very helpful. The hotel was immaculate & the rooms were clean and spacious. It’s directly across from the Metro which made traveling easier. Our reservation included metro tx during our stay so that was an added bonus and the drinks and snacks in the mini bar were complimentary. It’s located directly on Lake Geneva near good restaurants and a supermarket. It’s little gem of a boutique hotel and I would definitely stay there again!

I loved the location, it was right across the Gare and also 5-6mins walk to lake Geneva and most of the city’s attraction. They were able to check me in early as my flight arrived in the morning at no extra cost. I was given a Transport city pass after booking which helped me save money of public transport as I used it to move around the city and to and from the airport and even on the yellow boats to go across the lake. Hotel had a contemporary and stylish design

Hotel Victoria is an absolute gem. You wake up to breathtaking waterfront views over Lake Geneva and the Alps every morning. The hotel staff is the absolute best. As someone with celiac disease, I was really moved by the staff's careful attention to my dietary requirements. The restaurant went above and beyond to ensure safe, gluten-free dining options for me without compromising on taste or presentation. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Hotel La Barcarolle was by far my favorite hotel ever. The property, people, service, food, and views were stunning. I lost count of how helpful the staff was to our group of five. Our children delighted playing in the large grass field overlooking Lake Geneva. The pool was lovely and property well cared for. Special note -I have food sensitivities that were handled perfectly at the restaurant! I would absolutely recommend this hotel and stay again.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. For the price, we thought it would be functional and fine, but we did not expect such high standards. A really comfortable room with balconies, massive bathroom with a bath, a nice little bar with inexpensive drinks (for Switzerland) and super friendly staff. Everything was very, very clean and the whole place had that classic old school hotel vibe. As a bonus, we also got a great view of Lake Geneva.

The hotel sent a Geneva Transport card before our arrival so all our transport was free. Easy train ride from the airport then a 5 minute walk. A couple of minutes to Lake Geneva. A very warm welcome and an upgrade to a superior room. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Excellent shower. Breakfast was continental. Varied and excellent quality. I loved the yogurt. All the staff were excellent, friendly and efficient.

Excellent hotel, clean and friendly. We had a steep walk up the hill from the train station but it was worth it. This hotel is a fun down hill walk to the Lake Geneva and rather long but we took it several times with a train ride back up the hill. Everything was easy to get to, restaurants, bars and shops. We had a balcony looking out over the lake but it was very narrow beautiful view however. Excellent breakfast.

Excellent location in town centre, near railway station with connections to rest of Switzerland & a short walk from the promenade & lakeside of glorious Lake Geneva. Quality furniture & linen. Reception, bar & restaurant attractive & welcoming. Food was good & after we discovered they were happy to let us share dishes we ate there 4 out of 7 evenings. Good storage for a 7 night stay.

Fortunately the hotel gave us a room with a balcony at a higher level. It gave me a great opportunity to shoot night images of Lake Geneva and city of Montreux. The window at corridor can be opened for shooting elevated images of the city. Staying at this hotel had added extra value for our holiday in Switzerland. This is the most favorite hotel in our 8-days holiday after staying 5 hotels.

Quite high end with all the amenities. the family room was spacious with 2 adjoining rooms and 2 bath rooms. First time in Switzerland, the air conditioning was working well. we paid the same or higher price at other hotels in Switzerland which were miles below in standard than this. In terms of location, it depends on the itinerary, but it’s perfect for exploring Lake Geneva region.

The „Lake Geneva Hotel“ is located some 20min by Tram away from downtown Geneva. That feels just around the corner. Moreover it is close to the lake, but not as close as one would assume from the pictures, as there is the Versoix main street in between. The hotel is close to a supermarket, that we used frequently and found very comfortable that it is there.

The location was excellent, a quick 3/4 minute walk away from Lake Geneva and the English Gardens. The staff were very kind and attentive. The hotel itself was modern and comfortable. I enjoyed the food I had from the restaurant, and would happily stay here again if I visit Geneva again.

The Hotel is in a great location. Next to the train station and along Lake Geneva. The room was fantastic with a great view of Lake Geneva. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast had a lot to choose from and the food was excellent. If we come back to Montreux we will stay here again!

We had a fantastic view of Lake Geneva. The balcony was lovely to sit out on and watch people go by. Lovely quaint hotel, with very friendly staff. David at the reception is warm and friendly and truly loves his country of Switzerland. Can you blame him - you'll love it, too.

The perfect location for travel around the eastern end of lake Geneva. Hotel situated right on the lake with great views and lovely walks along the lake. Easy access to Vevey town and Montreux. The free bus pass provided by the hotel makes getting around really simple too.

Ideal location - free airport shuttle- 15 mins from city center by the tram. (5min walk) Hotel provided Free transport cards for city, which also included Lake Geneva ferry boats Modern clean rooms - good breakfast - friendly / helpful reception team
