Offering stylishly furnished rooms with balconies and coffee machines and free Wi-Fi, the Testa Grigia hotel has been completely renovated in 2010. Hotel Garni Testa Grigia is in an excellent location on the main street of Zermatt, less than 5 minutes walking from the train station. Check in was smooth and the receptionists at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was small as was to be expected for a single room but modern (better looking thant the photos) and had everything I needed. Value was very good for Zermatt, even the breakfast was included.

V here really stands for very very extraordinary. The most creative and unique hotel i've ever been. The room is really stylish yet cozy and very clean. Spa is incredible experience. Very helpful with suggestions on what to do. A bonus is the "fondue chalet" which would be great for a group or couple. The location is close to the bus line or easy walking distance. The hotel is very organized for sking, with the ski room.

Got a free upgrade to a room with the Matterhorn view. Loved the size and cleanliness of the room which had a very comfortable bed, bathroom and well equipped kitchenette. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was fantastic with a large variety of quality food. The pool facilities were also great for relaxation. The hotel was near a grocery store, some bus stops and the train station.

The family-run Bristol hotel is situated in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas. Hotel Bristol is a family run hotel which is nice to see with family albums. It deserves to be 4 stars. The rooms are clean and nice with balcony with Matterhorn view that is really nice. It is conveniently located with the shuttle bus (free with ski day pass) taking you to all the gondolas for the ski slopes. The breakfast was good and the bar cosy. They have a free taxi service to take you to the train station. The spa is very complete with spa and Finnish and bio sauna and many more.
