I believe this is the nicest place I have ever been. From outside you would never guess. I LOVED it. Small, cosy, luxurious, down to earth. All in one. No idea how the architect managed. Overlooking Neuchatel's rooftops or Lake Neuchatel, Hotel Alpes & Lac is opposite the main train station. It offers comfortable rooms and free Wi-Fi. Great location across from the train station, with wonderful views of lake and alps.

Located at Neuchâtel's harbour, Best Western Premier Hotel Beaulac is just a 2-minute walk from the historic city centre and the university. The room and view were incredible, we had the lake view and it was stunning, I highly recommend it. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were extremely courteous and made us feel very welcome. The drinks in the rooftop bar were very tasty.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is filled with historical and interesting nic nacs. Both the dinner and the breakfast in the hotel were delicious with locally sourced food.
