Hotel La Gaviota Tropical has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Playa Hermosa. Offering a bar, the property is located within a few steps of Hermosa Beach. The hotel is wonderful. It is a small, boutique hotel with rooms that are good sized and well-appointed. The staff quickly learns your name and how you like things (e.g., when housekeeping comes to the room, how much milk you want in your coffee). All of the employees are very personable and committed to the guests' enjoyment of their stay. The hotel is on a beach, literally, and the sunsets are magnificent. Lots of activities are available directly through the hotel -- we took a sunset cruise and experienced bioluminescence during a magical evening that started and ended right in front of the hotel. Food and service are excellent. By the way, the flan should not be missed!!!

The beachfront Hotel el Velero features an outdoor pool and a private beach where you can choose to swim, lounge or relax. Location directly at the beach couldn’t have been better. The food was good, especially their Tres Leches dessert 😊 The room was clean and recently renovated.

Marly was wonderful. She greeted us and showed us the room, which she had ensured we had a private bathroom despite us only requesting shared (no extra cost). Even though I had a payment problem she facilitated a solution. The room was small but comfortable and had excellent air conditioning and a fridge. The shared kitchen was well equipped and the shared dining area was beautiful and airy, despite the hot day.

The landscaping was so well Maintained and was just gorgeous The pool was super clean and inviting, not to mention the pool man was a great added feature! The front desk lady was so nice and Carlos was so helpful with our questions and helped us with our luggage! We are going back in a few days to stay again!
