Tegernsee is an incredibly beautiful destination that we recently had the pleasure of exploring, with its stunning mountains and picturesque lake it's definitely a must-visit spot. The hotel is situated in a peaceful area, well away from the main road, providing a tranquil atmosphere. For convenience, there's an Edeka market within walking distance, making it easy to pick up any essentials during your stay. The room also included a coffee maker, which was a nice touch. There’s a small door in the room that seems suited for dwarfs :)

We had only one night at Caro & Selig, but it was super enjoyable! We arrived at late night hour and the staff was super nice and attentive. The room was spacious, everything looked new and clean. Bed was super comfortable (both for us and our toddler who had a nice crib) There is air conditioner in the hotel and the rooms (super important on hot days!) Breakfast was rich, including variety of specialty of the region. The hotel has a parking attached (fee). The hotel located in middle of Tegernsee, short walk to lake promenade.

Exceptional stay! The hotel is very nicely located with an amazing view at Tegernsee, the staff is very friendly specially Frau Schneider and the lovely breakfast staff. I booked a room with a lake view and it was the highlight of the trip! The view is breathtaking specially at early morning hours. The hotel itself is a charming typical Bavarian house with great facilities and parking possibility. The breakfast buffet was delicious and they prepared for me different egg dishes. Everything was perfect, I hope to visit again soon.

This was our 3rd time to Tegernsee (previously stayed at Das Tegernsee & Uberfarht Seehotel) and this was our preferred option. Great location, good sized apartment and plenty of restaurants nearby which took the sting out of hotel meals. Parking was also free which was very expensive at the Uberfarht. We traveled with our 7 year old, she loved the bed, playing in the spacious gardens with swings and toys. It’s also great to get out of Rottach for access to the wider region.

The location is superb - near to the station and very central. The view of the lake from the balcony is incredible. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped. Elfi was very friendly and helpful. We thought that the Tegernsee Card, we were given on arrival, was better value than other tourist cards - good reductions on local attractions and free travel in the area. We had a really lovely stay at Landhaus Staudacher and will definitely return.

We stayed in the penthouse suite on the top floor and our room had two balconies. The views were simply breathtaking! The hotel is situated across the street from the Tegernsee. Free parking is also provided right outside the door. A few meters away is the spa, which I highly recommend you visit during your stay. The center of the town is about 7 minutes minutes walk from the hotel, so the overall location is perfect!

I stayed here with my daughter during ski learning experience trip, apartment had a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Kitchen is very compact but enough to prepare the simple dishes. Definite advantage is proximity of the Tegernsee lake and either Hirschberg ski lift or even Austrian Achensee - You can go there for a single day rides. Although building is rather old it does not negatively affect the impression.

The owners added a unique touch to their Hotel with cosy decor, amazing homemade bread (delicious), fresh cheese, great fresh breakfast and dinner. The rooms were very cosy and clean. The bed was very comfy and cozy. Quite area. The location is not on the Tegernsee lake but very close by to drive or even hike (around 1h30min). We enjoyed our stay very much and will stay again for a longer time.

The hotel is located about a 5 - 8 minute drive away from Tegernsee, it's very clean and well-taken care of. The breakfast is fresh and absolutely delicious!!! My favourite this each morning was the mountain view from my balcony while listening to the birds chirping. There's free parking available at the hotel which is a great convenience.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The owners are great hosts, the rooms and shared spaces are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is superb. It's the best price/performance option I've found in Bad Wiessee and it's 5 minutes walking distance to the Tegernsee lake and boat to Tegernsee town center. ⛴️

I loved my stay at the Askania Hotel. The location is excellent, the personnel is very kind, and the style keeps the magic of the old wooden mountain houses. Special mention to the breakfast. The room could be a little bit more modern (bathroom mostly). I do very recommend this hotel if you want a cozy stay at the Tegernsee.

The hotel is beautifully and tastefully restored, located near the Lake Tegernsee. Seamless communication and check in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms with balconies. Tasty and fresh vegetarian breakfast every day. Hotel lobby available around the clock for chilling or picking up a drink.

Very cozy, small apartment, perfect for a week. tCozy terras, kitchen with basic needs. Very clean and lovely welcome gift :) Lays in walking distance to Tegernsee and also next to many shops and restaurants. From there it's also very easy to go visit beautiful side of Bavaria.

Cute hotel very close to the beautiful lake Tegernsee. Love the historic feel of the hotel. Nice complementary breakfast is provided with good coffee. Nice bonus is a fridge with some beer and drinks with nice glasses where you can get yourself a drink for a reasonable price.

Lovely staff. Beautiful property. Really clean and comfortable room overlooking Tegernsee. Freibad is across the hotel! Love it! Breakfast was filling and I enjoy the calm morning breakfast! Would love to visit again! And easily accessible from Tegernsee bahnhof too!

The hotel is situated directly on the Tegernseer Lake. Having Diner and Breakfast on a warm summer day on the terrace directly near the lake. The view was magnificent. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A classic german hotel perfect for a stay in Tegernsee! Very old-school but well-kept, super comfortable, super clean, nice restaurant and biergarten downstairs, everything perfect! Highly recommended!

I had a fully equipped apartment close to public transportation and close to lake Tegernsee. The woman who is the host exceeds my understanding of friendliness.
