What a lovely room with a balcony 😍 💕 I wanted to stay longer. Breakfast was continental and perfect! I truly enjoyed Jeff, his wife, and pretty little girls who came to help their father in the morning. I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend Auberge les Oliviers to all travelers!.❤️❤️

History, beautiful beaches and great boat trips!
Ajaccio is the Capital of Corsica and the birth place of French emperor Napoleon the 1st. It has history, a vibrant night life, beautiful views and beaches (head on the route to the Sanguinaires and you'll have a plethora of white sandy beaches to choose from), many shopping opportunities and great food (a mix of Italian and French cuisine, now that's a treat!). Do not miss the boat trips to the Sanguinaires islands and to the Scandola national reserve/Calanches de Piana.

This hotel is a small oasis in paradise, just a few perfect rooms that make you feel very special. The proximity to the beach and other local beaches allow you to experience the immediate area but be able to retreat to the hotel whenever needed. This was our third stay. Everything that we wanted; quiet, calm although we decided to go close to the end of the season when I feel that the island must be very busy. Expensive but exclusive - apologies if that sounds snobbish - and I think that is also a huge draw for some. Main residents and visitors are Italian and French. The staff are amazing and I really want to highlight those who took particular care of us - Joe from Sardinia, Victor from Monpelier, Luca from Rome and the lovely lovely Barbera our wonderful house keeper. They made everything so much better - if that were possible. This place is our idea of paradise.
