In the heart of Cherbourg close to the marina, the Arsenal and the sports complex is the Hotel du Louvre which features a traditional setting and quality comfort. Decent last minute hotel. Good staff and b'fast was good. Plane is a bit dated though.

Hôtel Les Ormes, The Originals Relais is situated in Carteret opposite the marina. Set in a charming 19th century residence, it has a flower-filled garden, a terrace and beautiful views of the sea. Everything was just perfect. Room , breakfast and the marvelous dinner .
