Inside and out so beautiful. Definitely a perfect couples get away. We love the inside decor and the bed was so comfortable. Even though it was cold and raining we still enjoyed the hot tub outside on the deck. If we lived in France we would be back!!

Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey Hôtel & Restaurant LALIQUE in Bommes features 5-star accommodation with a bar, a shared lounge and a terrace. The room was very nice, with a fine courtyard view, and quiet. Service was superb. Staff responded to our plumbing problem (see below) as soon as we could report it. And they comped our breakfast.

Situated in Sauternes in the Aquitaine Region, 39 km from Bordeaux, Hôtel Le 23 features a sun terrace and views of the garden. Guests can find a restaurant near the property. The owners were the caretakers. They are very professional, they pay attention even to minute details, the premises are very aesthetic. The owners were also very friendly and accommodating. This is an exceptional place.

Less than 20 km from Bordeaux, Château Léognan - Bordeaux - Nouvelle Ouverture offers a dream setting for a wine tourism getaway, cozy and gastronomic. Luxury accommodation within the castle. The check in process was easy even though we arrived at almost midnight. A very sweet young man named Tom helped us get our heavy bags (due to a river cruise after this stay) to our room. There was a personal welcome note in the room. Every night there was a little something on the pillow in the room with turn down service. The room had a wonderful shower with two separate shower heads in a larger shower. Amenity products in the bath were very nice with a soft fresh scent. The beds were marvelous with nice duvet which made sleeping very nice and comfortable. Our housekeeper, Oceane, was a true delight! The breakfast was extremely large and quite wonderfully served fresh by Nicolas and Marine daily, who were lovely and helped us learn a few words of French while practicing their English. A very professional and helpful staff member named Gilles gave us a tour around the property on day one, which included seeing the two beautiful horses on the property (Shippee and Azul- certain that is not how they are spelled in French). The tour included taking us to the wellness spa set in the woods on the property. We were given a complimentary wine tasting in the afternoon on day one of the stay, and discovered the wonderful wines of Chateau Léognan. There was a small happy hour daily with a bottle of wine and bottle of red from the Chateau along with mixed nuts for the guests in the dining area of the Chateau. We discovered the charming two story restaurant on the property for our lunches and dinner. The food was a gastronomic experience, and the wait staff were very helpful and attentive. The smoked beef tenderloin and chicken were truly a savory experience. We took advantage of the wellness spa with its jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms, along with the services of facials, body scrubs and massages. Both therapists were professional and assisted us in having a greatly needed and very relaxing experience.

Les Sources de Caudalie is located in the Château Smith Haut Lafitte vineyards, less than a 20-minute drive from Bordeaux historic district. Didn't have sauna and steam room included in price of room

I cannot speak highly enough of them. They helped me with arranging transport to a family wedding in nearby Bazas, and I am very grateful for their kindness. My room (220) was spacious and well equipped for my needs, and cleanliness was of a high standard. The bed was very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom had an effective extractor fan and the shower was excellent. My room had very effective air conditioning - as I stayed 15th to 17th July 2022, you will appreciate this made a HUGE positive difference. The location is highly convenient. Several restaurants and bars literally on the doorstep, and an ALDI 3 minutes walk away if you want to buys snacks and bottled water etc. for your room. I travelled by plane and train (the station is a 15 minute walk from the hotel), but the free onsite parking appeared to be ample. The toll entry/exit for the A62 motorway appeared to be about a 3 minute drive from the hotel. I am generally a solo traveller, and my needs are simple, but fellow guests with families and children all appeared to be happy and satisfied. My verdict - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Set in Gradignan, Enight offers accommodation with free high-speed WiFi and a fitness centre. The rooms offer a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hair dryer and shower. Room was basic, but seemed brand new, crisp clean. Whomever takes care of the hotel seems to make an extra effort to create a pleasant experience for the guests. Enjoyed the stay.
