The staff are very friendly and very helpful. This was a part of our hiking trip around the Cantal (former) volcanos. The staff contacted us prior to our arrival to make everything easy and well organized. Besides, the dinner at the restaurant is a real treat at a very friendly price. Breakfast was also very good.

Hôtel Le Brunet is an Alpine resort located in Saint Jacques des Blats. It is 5 minutes from the Lioran ski station, accessible by a free ski shuttle outside the Hotel. It was an absolute sensation. I didn't expect to find such a hidden gem. A super beautiful tiny village in the mountains, breathtakingly picturesque, and a hotel with an astonishing view on the rising sun. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, a local market just outside and a boulangerie across the street. Even the way to the village is astonishing. 100% I will come back.

Situated in the centre of Vic-sur-Cère, 20 minutes from Aurillac, the Beauséjour offers an exceptional panoramic view over the Cantal Mountains and features a gorgeous outdoor swimming pool. We had a suite for the week - perfect! Lots of light, windows facing two directions, comfortable sofa, big screen TV, sound proof windows, black out curtains. Close to a bakery. The owners are wonderful- we forgot the HDMI cable to connect the Nintendo switch to the TV and one magically appeared the next day while we were out exploring. Thanks!
