A very nice place to stay with basic but clean and comfortable private rooms and access to kitchen etc. Very reasonable prices. Lovely views across the bay too. Staff very friendly and helpful. I love Lamlash and love Arran as a place for a relaxed cycle tour.

The hotel’s location was the reason I chose it, and I wasn’t disappointed! I also had dinner, breakfast and drinks there, and in addition to a cosy atmosphere and very nice staff, the food was top notch! Lastly… if you are able, try and book the rooms facing the bay, and be treated to incredible sunrises! I can’t wait to stay there again. Bonus point, it is easily accessible with public transport.

Ormidale Hotel war ein großartiger Start unserer Schottlandtour. Charismatisches Hotel, das den ursprünglichen Flair spüren lässt. Tolles freundliches Personal. Wunderbar willkommen heißend und helfend. Das Frühstück und der Frühstücksraum großartig! Das Essen im Pub - ein Traum! Das Ormidale sowie die Isle of Arran ist zweifellos eine Reise Wert!!!

Belvedere is situated just a short walk from the ferry terminal, along a street with fabulous views over Goatfell and the bay below. My room was convenient, had a thick cosy carpet and a warm duvet. Breakfast was excellent! The host Allan was very helpful and gave good information.

The Shorehouse is in the front of the sea, it’s a really good location. We were just two but we had two bedrooms, one kitchen and one bathroom! We also had lot of choice on the TV. My boyfriend said that it was his best booking experience!!
