A really quirky apartment filled with loads of character and in a great location, 1 min walk to the port area with lighthouse and waterfront restaurants. Just a short 5 min walk to the old fortress and right in the middle of the quaint streets of Rethymno filled with shops, restaurants and Bougainville trees. A flat 15 min walk from the bus stop. Great communication from the host. Nice window shutters for a dark room, some great artwork throughout the room and the shared coffee making and cooking area downstairs. A compact but nice bathroom.

The location was great in a quiet neighborhood and a 15 minutes walking distance from the Rethymno old town and port. We had parked just in front of the studio. Self check-in was easy. Everything was crystal clear. The apartment had all the necessities. We had a welcoming basket with sweet pastries, bananas and juices. Also there were a couple of water bottles, which were very convenient. All free of charge. The balcony was perfect with an amazing sea view and the relaxing sound of tides. Everything was very clean, specially the bathroom!

Lovely apartment right by the sea with huge terrace! Rooms very tastefully decorated to the smallest detail. Apartment well equipped, washing machine with detergent, toiletries, coffee and milk, lot of complimentary water. Television with Netflix etc. Very good coffee and nice snacks to buy at the beach bar. Sunbeds at the beach with no extra cost. The beach itself very nice and long, mainly sandy, not crowded. Very peaceful place despite the road near by, a lot of privacy, only the sound of the waves. Short drive to Rethymnon center. 

We had a wonderful stay at Star Apartments in Rethymno! The location was absolutely perfect, right on the beachfront with stunning views of the sea from our balcony. We loved being able to step right out onto the sand and enjoy the beautiful beach. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Star Apartments for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient beachfront stay in Rethymno!

The property was beautiful, a great beach hotel with all the amenities. Right across the street from the beach with free chairs and umbrellas. We had a great room for our family of 4. There was a buffet breakfast every morning with lots of options which was perfect. The location was great could walk to old port Rethymno. We rented a car and drove all over Crete so being located in the middle was perfect. The staff was nice and sincere and very helpful. Everything was always clean. Thank you Atlantis Beach Hotel!!

If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to unwind, Gold Apartments is ideal. The apartments are self-catering, which gave us the freedom to cook our own meals and enjoy them on the balcony overlooking the sea. The location is close enough to the center of Rethymno for easy access to restaurants and shops, but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle. We spent most of our time lounging by the pool or on the beach, which is literally steps away. It was the perfect peaceful getaway.

Z Boutique Hotel was a perfect holiday spot for my mother and I. The hotel is super comfortable and quiet and located in a small Cretan village on the seaside. The room was quiet, with A/C or a fan and facing a lovely yard with a small swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious, we had to call reception about 15 minutes before coming to get it which allowed for warm food - very thoughtful note. The staff was extremely nice and helpful - with good advice on how to get to Rethymno to visit.

The Apartment was very clean, modern, homely and very comfortable. Its location was fabulous situated about 300 metres from the old town of Rethymno and about 400 metres from a wonderful sandy beach-easy walking distance. It was much better than we could ever have expected. Elsa ,the owner ,had provided a few bottles of water, a couple of beers and coco cola and fruit juice for our use which was a very welcoming jesture . We would certainly come back and recommend it to our friends

We always managed to find a parking spot around the apartment. Considering how difficult the parking in Rethymno is, this was a huge advantage. The apartment was a 15-min walk from Rethymno old town. There was a supermarket right in from of it, which was really convenient. The area was quiet and it was easy to enter and exit the city, without getting stuck in traffic. The apartment is located in a new building and was newly furnished. The mattresses and the pillows were comfortable.

They upgraded me to an upper-floor bedroom (I was originally booked for a ground-floor room). The view from my balcony was wonderful. The room was large with a separate area hosting the fridge, sink, kettle and with a small table/chairs. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. They gave me recommendations for where to eat. Breakfast was excellent - I had a guided tour of what was on offer by the head chef and enjoyed the view from the 5th floor over Rethymno.

We had a wonderful stay at Astali Hotel in Rethymno. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in, go on a trip, and when we returned, our belongings were already waiting for us in the room. The staff was always helpful and attentive. The location is perfect – very close to the beach, the city center, and plenty of great restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rethymno.

The location in old town was perfect. Couldn’t have been closer to restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. It was awesome for having a washing machine in the unit. We were on a 2 week trip and being able to wash our clothes easily. Just a warning if you rent a car, you can not drive on the street that the hotel is on. It is a pedestrian only street. I would highly recommend this property for anyone that wants to be in the heart of Old Town Rethymno.

Clean and nice rooms. Food always rich in variety and quality. Hotel staff very keen on a satysfing service. Very fast and friendly waiters. Room was filled with fresh water every morning and nice welcoming with a bottle of wine / fruits. Transfer to the hotel and back to the airport was organized very well and easy. Very chilled location without any disturbing noises. Interesting and beautiful Rethymno easy to reach by bus/taxi

This suite is one of the perfect and pleasant one in all my trips to Greece. The place was very thoughtfully decorated with elegant decor and lighting style. It really like home, even though for one day. We wanted to prolong our stay at Philikon, Rethymno, however it was a short trip this time. We are planning to stay for a longer duration on our next visit! I wanna thank the host from the bottom of my heart! Until next time!

Our deluxe suite was spacious, pretty and comfortable. If you are on the second floor they provide an elevator. The location was quite nice but I might prefer to be a bit closer to Old City of Rethymno. Good beaches were close enough that we could come and go easily which was great fun and Meltemi had beach gear we could use as well as providing beach towels. The cleaning woman was excellent and helped out in many ways.

Incredible experience. The Staff was extremely friendly and always eager to help (Ria, Raef and Nina thank you again). The Pool and Beach areas were very nice and the views from the Bay were astonishing. The Town had everything you need and in a 30 minute drive you get to the old Town of Rethymno, which is always special. We will surely return to this Boutique Hotel, our girls loved it and they had a blast.

The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, friendly and sociable. This is like coming home to your Cretan family! A range of Cretan treats was waiting for us. The apartment is well equipped and cosy. It has a fire place that we used on one occassion, adding to the ambiance. It is within easy reach of the Rethymnon old harbour and Venetian fort. If you don't mind a good walk, you can follow the waterfront

We stayed on the ground floor in a spacious room. It had a beautiful balcony and our bed was very comfortable. When in Greece, I feel most comfortable in family run small hotels and it was a pleasure to meet Helena, Athina and their mother. They are doing a great job keeping up this place. Parking is right in front of the building. We will definitely stay in this hotel on our next trip to Rethymno.

Everything in the apartment is new. The location is perfect. The big market and bakery are 1 minute away. The beach is on a 5-minute walk and old town on 10 minutes. The owner is very nice and helpful. Everything is as you see in pictures. If we someday come back to the Rethymno, we will choose the same accommodation. If you have a car there is a very nice beach Episkopi, 10 km from Rethymno.

Brand new apartments, large space, really clean and cozy ! Comfortable and large beds. Apartment was fully equiped (even with first aid kit) . Pool area was really nice. Location was also good and close to city of Rethymno. Host was very polite, helpful and always at your disposal. I would highly recommend to visitors who are interested for vacations in Crete.
