In the Peninsula area, it is hard to find a good place to eat, much less to find places open past 6pm, thankfully you got a really good restaurant (Sker Restaurant) only 10 minutes away from the hotel:) Let's talk about the most important meal of the day, BREAKFAST! 10/10. They had all what a breakfast for champions needs: Eggs, Sausage, different sorts of Icelandic yougurt(Skyr), Fruits, Juices, Coffee, and much more;) And you can easily watch the northern lights from the comfort of your room, but if you wanna get even a better view, you just need to drive a couple minutes out Hellissandur (away from the street lights). Located on Snæfellsnes peninsula, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and rooms with mountain views and free WiFi access. Stykkishólmur town centre is a 25-minute drive away. Excellent staff and service. Check in is allowed till 9.30pm you just have to call and inform the staff beforehand. Rooms are extremely spacious and very clean. You have a nespresso machine and kettle.in room. Heating is nothing short of perfection. Beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast spread was superb.very many vegan and vegeterian options. Highly recommended.

Luxury beds and power showers are offered at Hótel Egilsen. Baldur Ferry Terminal and boats to the West Fjords and Flatey island are 300 metres away. Wi-Fi is free. historic beautiful building. Lovely breakfast. right next to the harbour.

One of the better hotels we encountered in iceland that had a great value for money. Great location, kind staff and very good breakfast. Nice views from the room.

Helgrindur Guesthouse offers accommodation in Grundarfjordur. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Each room is equipped with a free WiFi. Great location while touring the Peninsula. Lots of space in this very modern, clean unit. We had to change credit cards for payment and host was very easy to communicate with and very helpful, We just stayed overnight but would be quite comfortable staying for longer.

Located in the country side, Hotel Stundarfridur offers accommodation 12 km from Stykkishólmur. This property provides guests with a terrace. There is also a restaurant and a shared lounge. Beds were comfortable and everything clean. Loved the friendly service.

We stayed in the hotel in the month of March. We loved how we were surrounded by snow and how we felt isolated from the outside world living in our own small cabin. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered us complimentary cake for breakfast when they knew that it was our honeymoon. They also provided us an ocean view room upgrade.

Absolutely Fantastic . The best hotel in our stay in Iceland. The natural scenery around the hotel is breathtaking. The food from the restaurant is amazing ! You can leave the hotel and walk near the ocean in various beautiful trails . We had a great night sleep ! The famous black church is just a few steps away from the hotel.

This award-winning, eco-friendly hotel is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 6 km from Iceland’s famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano. staff are very friendly. we were forced to stay one more night because roads are closed due to weather condition. we asked the staff a lot of questions and they are very helpful to address our concerns. hotel manger is also helpful on this matter. very appreciate.
