I think I experienced one of the most comfortable bed in my whole life, but definitely the best breakfast that I have ever had so far. We couldn't even choose from the selection. So many healthy and special options to choose from. We will for sure come back again to this lovely little town and would 100% book Hotel Walther von der Vogelweide!

Literally 30 seconds away from the lifts. Ski rental right in front of the hotel, and there is a ski room on the lower floor of the hotel where you can leave your equipment at the end of the day. Food was fantastic. We had breakfast and dinner included and everything was absolutely delicious. Would absolutely stay here again.

Odlično izhodišče do vseh smučišč Dolomiti Superski ali na smučeh ali z avtom. Apartma Barantl v 1. nadstropju nudi vse brez izjeme. Domač ambient je prijeten in dovolj je ogrevan.

A combination of location and service. The hotel is on a wonderful spot overlooking the valley over Ortisei. The view from the room was breathtaking! The outdoor swimming pool was great after a hot day in the mountains. The meals were exceptional quality and served by courteous and experienced staff. We felt like we were in a Michelin * restaurant! In the evening they lit a fire on the balcony and it was marvellous sitting by the fire looking at the stars. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We didn't have time to use all the facilities but they showed us around the sauna area and it looked amazing! We will certainly come again and next time we will go hiking with the hotel guide!

Our family was amazed by how good the hotel was. Rooms are great, view is stunning, rich breakfast, and great restaurant for lunch and dinner. We literally did not go out of the city for food, because our restaurant was so good. Chef’s compliments for breakfast and dinner! Freshly squeezed juices. And great spa!! Suggest to everyone!!

The view was amazing. The staff were so helpful and kind-Monica was particularly helpful...I was able to swim in the lake daily.. The rowboats were fun and the boat staff were helpful. The beauty of the setting is beyond words. The reflection of the mountains and trees in the turquoise water was breathtaking and constantly changing. The restaurant staff, including Ali and Elias and Simon and the housekeeping team, including Janna, were all excellent. The reception staff including Monica and Massimo were lovely. The folkst at the store, especially Roberto, were very kind and they carry good quality gifts. The owners have gone out of their way to honor the history, heritage, and traditions of the space while at the same creating a wonderful hotel in a amazing setting.

Oh wow!!! I wish we had more time to stay longer!! A wonderful place!!! We stayed in the Yakima tents and they were wonderful!! The pool and wellness area was brilliant !! Very unique!! The shop- brilliant!! Some amazing outdoor merch!!! And a climbing wall inside it- yep!!! We loved it there!! Staff are amazing too!! We will definitely be back but for longer!!!

Everything : the building,the location, the staff,the facilities,the food the fact it was snowing on our arrival made Everything so magical.To be able to swim outside in a heated pool whilst it snowed was such a joy.
